Alice and the gang arrive for 2 nights in Alcamo - 12th & 13th March

Drove this morning from Marsala to Alcamo. Possibly the most scenic drive of the trip so far. Miles and miles of vineyards and some houses that looked like they were stright from the Godfather movie. Got to Palermo airport right on time to collect Alice (who had flown in from Germany) and Angel, his mum and her friend Louis. Drove to the AirBnB which Alice had booked and was greatly surprised at how great it was. Right on the beach at Alcamo marina. That afternoon we drove to Scopello for a look, a walk and a Aperol Spritz. Tonight we ate at the tiny restaurant in front of the house. It was a great night, and finished off with a grappa with the owner.
