I think it was Brenno that suggested Germany (for the beers and sausages) so now I need to plan the next stage of my trip. But first its a few days in Paris, then off to London for the Coronation (and Margaret's birthday) and then a week travelling around the Kent countryside (including Dover) and a few days in Belgium before I hire a car and drive to Berlin.

So today spent some time walking around Orleans and had an early dinner (with the traditional French onion soup - basically onion soup and cheese....) The cathedral here is magnificent, but tomorrow expect the be overwhelmed by the one in Chartres.
