Arrived in Malta at 1pm, after about 27 hours of flights and airports. At first glance Malta looks very old and fascinating. My driver had to take a detour to get to the hotel as the locals were so excited to see me they organised a parade.
Am staying at the Hotel Barrister – right in the middle of the oldest part of Valetta. Tonight, I ate at the restaurant one80, just up the road. I had beef & oyster tartare – delicious. Asleep by 8pm
