Adios Espana, Bonjour la France. Time to move on after a fantastic few weeks in Spain. I have really enjoyed my time here and although I focused on a small area geographically compared to my last trip here, I seem to enjoy Spain more and more everyday. Apart from the food and ease of transport, the sights are amazing and the people wonderful. So different to Sardinia where everything has been destroyed! I think I have found the perfect place to wrap up my Spanish adventure - the town of San Sebastian with its famous beaches and cobblestoned old town. I dined on tapas both nights at a number pintxo bars- which thankfully serve food all day! Washed down with some Basque poured Sindra. Today I knocked out 25,000 steps to revisit the western end of La Concha Bay where - when things are rough, the wind makes music through the blow holes, but today nothing, so I have attached a video with Alice from 2018.
Wish me luck tomorrow when I try a completely new mode of transport the BlaBla bus to the Biarritz airport. Can't wait to come back to Spain.....soon.....
