This morning I was picked up by Nick Swann - a good friend from the Scenic Eclipse in Antartica. He arrived in his pretty much brand new Ferrari F8 Spider.....We spent a terrific day visiting all the sights in Stamford - including but not limited to: Burghley house, Lions Bridge, Barnack village, Rhinos Gymnasium, Rutland Water, Barnsdale Country Club, Normanton Park Church and the George Hotel for dinner. Interesting trivia fact that the worlds heaviest man Mr Daniel Lambert (52 stone 11lbs) resided at the George until he died. His coffin was 6ft by 4ft by 3ft...
