The last Arctic post and Bi-Polar...!!

Our last day before we depart the ship was spent in Isfjorden, Svalbard.This s the second longest fjord in the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard. It lies on the west side of Spitsbergen, an island in the Arctic Ocean about midway between Norway and the North Pole, and the largest in the archipelago. It is the location of The Svenskhuset Tragedy which was an event in the winter of 1872–73 where seventeen men died from lead poisoning in an isolated house between Xmas and the middle of April. Researchers found a diary from the last man to die - Very spooky.... Had my last zodiac trip with Alice and happened to come across two huge walruses. Today I also became Bi-Polar as I completed my 2nd polar plunge, this time at the North Pole!! Bit of dejavu as completed the plunge with Nick (as in Antarctica!). Perfect way to finish my epic adventure. Tomorrow we travel to Oslo for a few days before I head home.
